Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

Click here to read about me the artist and about the latest artistic output of mine and my collaborators found here. The best reason to shop here is YOU can feel good about helping great causes: Part of proceeds will go to furthering animal rights (Pawzu) for all products. In other news, recently we completed a successful charity concert fundraiser to raise money for the Tapestries of Hope human rights cause. Check out these videos of the concert: #1, #2, and #3! (In completely unrelated news, check out pics from my first trip to Burning Man.)

Thank you very much for visiting and spreading the word,

CHARITY FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS!

When: Saturday the 28th of June 2008 from 1-3 PM

Where: The historic Estate Winery Barrel Room, Wente Vineyards, 5565 Tesla Rd, Livermore, CA

Why: An afternoon of live music, FREE food, wine tasting, and helping an important human rights cause. All proceeds from ticket sales went to complete Tapestries of Hope (TOH), a landmark human rights movie and social entrepreneurship effort involving on-the-ground work with children, particularly girls, in Africa and North America.

Who: The Front Porch (In early 2008, winemaker Karl Wente turned his famed weekly jam sessions into the acclaimed band, "The Front Porch". Band members include Bay Area music heavyweights: concert violinist Jim Hurley, percussionist extraordinaire Kenneth Nash, singer Jonny Williams, singer Megan Bradford, ukelele player Bob Giddens, guitarist Art Najera, cellist Richard Hibbs, guitarist/Ruby Hills Winery winemaker Chris Graves, and recently retired concert pianist Ray Arthur Wang, who is a Producer for TOH.)

Genre: The Front Porch rotates through multiple genres for a truly unique listening experience: Attendees heard original music as well as THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, VAN MORRISON, CHICK COREA, BEETHOVEN, GERSHWIN, etc.

Special Guest Speaker: Attendees heard award-winning author/TOH director Michealene Cristini Risley talk about her experiences in a Zimbabwe prison and as a speaker at the United Nations.

Click here or on "Tickets" above to find out more about the cause. If you couldn't make the concert but still want to help the cause, please consider donating here through the TOH blog page.
